A private and tranquil bed and breakfast among our 700 established olive trees.

Situated 13.4 km along Inland Road on the picturesque Karikari Peninsula, you have the choice of one double room or one twin bed room with your own shared bathroom facilities.

Our home has ground level access and the bathroom features a walk in level access shower.

Explore the peninsula’s many beaches, pass some time at the Karikari Estate winery or dine at the local Carrington Restaurant.

It is a short drive to shop at Mangonui or in good weather charter a boat to take you. The Karikari Peninsula offers fine diving, in-shore and game fishing.

This is a great spot to base yourself for a day trip to Cape Reinga or across to Ahipara on the West Coast.

Need a quiet retreat from your busy life? Then you are welcome to just relax on our property, listen to the birds and read a book.

You can also purchase a bottle of our extra virgin olive oil as a memento of your stay with us.

We regret that we do not have EFTPOS or Credit Card facilities.

How to get here from Auckland

BY CAR

It is an approximately four and half hour drive from central Auckland heading north on State Highway (SH) 1 following the signs to Whangarei. Stay on SH1 for approximately three hours from Auckland where you turn right to SH10 at Pakaraka Junction (after Moerewa) and head towards Kerikeri and Doubtless Bay. Six km past Taipa, turn right to the Karikari Peninsula (Inland Road).

Air New Zealand Link flies from Auckland to Kaitaia once or twice daily and to Kerikeri four or five times daily, using 19-seat Beechcraft and 50-seat Bombardier aircraft.

The flight takes 40 - 45 minutes and hire cars are available at both airports.
